Insert new line in find-replace?

Things I have tried

I have tried \n and \\ in the Replace field. However, these are interpreted literally.

I also tried entering option-return in the Replace field, but that doesn’t appear to do anything.

What I’m trying to do

I am trying to find all occurrences of a character and replace it with a new line

I don’t think you can do that with Obsidian’s Find & replace. I’d just edit the note with VS Code if I were you.
