Insert link to new file with templatr

What I’m trying to do

When writing in any note, I want to create some shortcut that will do the following:

  1. Invoke the template modal to allow me to select a template to create a new note from template
  2. Open the new note from template in a new tab
  3. At the point where I was writing, insert a link to the newly created file.
  4. If possible, insert an embed link instead of a normal link to the newly created file
  5. Extra points if I can, in the same moment, edit the link so it points to a specific section inside the newly created file.

I am using Templater for my templates. Is there any way to do this?

Things I have tried

At the moment I am stuck with a workflow of new tab, templatr modal, go to previous tab, insert link.
