Inline predictive text on MacOS Sonoma

Support the new feature “inline predictive text” for MacOS Sonoma. I am not sure if this is technological possible for Obsidian that is not written in Swift. Related documentation by apple might be inlinePredictionType | Apple Developer Documentation

This would also be nice on iOS, tho I suspect it may not be possible on either platform.

just wanted to bump this; i would love to see this feature in obsidian as it’s the main place i type. if it’s not possible, i would appreciate confirmation on that at least.

+1. The inline text predictions were so nice when typing in the stock Notes.app.

I’m wondering if there’s any update on this. Many other apps – not just Apple defaults – work with inline predictive text. For example, it works flawlessly on Drafts (getdrafts [dot] com).

This is sorely missing in Obsidian.

Drafts is a native app. I’d like to see this in Obsidian, but it might need to be added upstream in Electron, assuming that’s possible.

Two years have past and there is still no information about adding this feature to obsidian…
I wonder why nobody take care of this function . For sure this function is really important and saves a lot of time when you are typing long words but lack of confidence in your poor English - which makes you struggle with next characters and think of look up in dictionary.
Noticed the progress Apple has made on this feature in recent years, I think we should reconsider the requirement of this function. After all, this couldn’t be too difficult to reach, yeah?
