Obsidian currently doesn’t support inline latex which is sometimes very important for writing small formulas or notations.

For me, this is all the time. I’ll be really happy to see this implemented. Right now I’m using a mix of Obsidian and VSCode to render my files, and I’ll be happy when I can just use Obsidian.
Don’t worry, this is feature is planned.
For those searching google to see if this has been implemented, it has. Obsidian supports block latex equations and inline.
