Inline Latex in markdown table slows obdisian

What I’m trying to do

When I create a markdown table with inline LaTeX in several rows/columns, the responsiveness in Obsidian slows down significantly.

Things I have tried

  • Cutting/pasting the table confirms the issue, when the table is removed the responsiveness is normal, re-pasting it slugs again.
  • Tried several different themes, the issue is the same.
