Inline citations appear as a single combined number rather than separating individually

Steps to reproduce

Write the following text in an existing note / new note

This is how it looks in the note:

You can see the citations [3] and [7], but when viewed in the exported PDF format, this is how it looks as shown down below:

As you can see from above, the citations [3] and [7] combine themselves into a double-digit number 37

To separate them, I need to manually add the space between them, but again this is manageable for short notes, but if you have copied and pasted from a dense source, this will be a heavy task to separate the citations to show them individually in the PDF format.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]

Yes. I tried this in the Sandbox version and same results were achieved when exported into PDF. It is to be noted that I use Obsidian in it’s vanilla form only without a single community plug-in installed, since it serves most of my purpose in it’s core form. No fancy theme, no productivity related community plug-ins, etc.

Expected result

Same combined citations in the PDF format.

Actual result

The expected result would be to have a space between the multiple citations in the PDF format, but instead it showed the two or any number of citations in the combined number format.
