Indenting/lists without bullet points

I have tried to indent without bullet points. Tabbing it only indents it minimally but not as wide as the automatic bullet point indentation. Attached is what I mean.

How can I indent so that the indentation is the same length as a bullet point indentation but without the indentation?

Indents in markdown are recognized as code blocks (which is what your text in red is). Can’t say without a bigger screenshot if you are using headers, but if you are, indenting the text is not necessary.

That is to say it’s not possible to use tab to indent without bullets. You could try doing so with css.

If you have a bullet above, and want to indent the text below it, then it should be “indented” with spaces at the same level the text of the bullet starts at: https://meta.stackexchange.com/a/192898
