Expected result

See below

Actual result

When you make a list where every item has 2 lines split by SHIFT + ENTER, anything after the 10th item will get the quote (I think?) formatting, the little line on the left, with no way to remove it while keeping the text in line

Additional information

If you could copy an example list and paste it here in a code block, that would make it easier for others to test.

1. The Godfather (3 movies, 1972, 1974, 1990) - 9.5/10, 8/10, 4/10
First one's great, second is alright but kinda slow and boring, third is boring and feels out of place
2. Scarface (movie, 1983) - 9/10
Great movie but the timeline is chaotic. It feels like I'm the one high on cocaine while watching this
3. Goodfellas (movie, 1990) - 9.5/10
Wonderful movie, rewatched 10 times and will keep doing so every once in a while
4. The Sopranos (show, 1999-2007) - 8.5/10
Great series as a whole, Tony Soprano is a complex character, but it can get boring sometimes
5. The Blacklist (show, 2013-2023) - 9/10 to 4/10
Mindfucky show, very action packed despite not having many classic 'action' scenes, but the last 2 seasons shouldn't exist
6. Breaking Bad (show) - 8/10
Good watch, really enjoyed it, but the characters feel very insecure most of the time, scared, especially at the beginning so it kinda makes you constantly feel uneasy
7. Casino (movie, 1995) - 7.5/10
Good movie, especially at the beginning, but the plot sometimes gets weird
8. The Irishman (movie, 2019) - 9/10
Great movie for most of it's duration, good history lesson for the most part, sad ending and slightly boring at last
9. Donnie Brasco (movie, 1997) - 8/10
Story about a rat, someone who infiltrates in a mafia family to gather intel and get them thrown in the can. Good movie, but fuck rats
10. Snowfall (show) -
    what the
11. A Bronx Tale (movie) -
    This is weird

The problem is with indentation guides that detect 4 spaces. You can disable indentation guides in the settings

Also, this seems to be a quirk of editing view. Reading View, which generally provides a “truer” rendering of Markdown, doesn’t show the lines.

This does remove the quote formatting but also starts newlines more towards the left which looks ugly :frowning:

That’s indeed true, but I use Obsidian 99% of time in editing mode so it’s still an issue for me

A CSS snippet can change that. I can’t provide details, but someone in Custom CSS & Theme Design may be able to.
