Use the following markup

And switch to the Preview mode.

Workaround for this issue is to mix underscore _ and asterisk * symbols.

Ok. There is no preview mode.
There’s Source Mode (Editor), Live Preview (editor) and Reading view .
This is a bug of reading view.
