Inconsistent Translations shipped with Obsidian

In the options window, when using the default english setting, the first sub-menu is called “General”. When using German or Dutch or when applying the english translation manually it changes to the appropriate translation of “About”.

Tried on android and windows.

Steps to reproduce

Select language English (restart).
→ Menu is now called “General”.

Select language German (restart).
→ Menu is now called “Über” (translates to about)

Apply the english translation file using these steps.
→ Menu is now called “About”.

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Yes

I tried in a sandbox vault and the mobile app. Same result. I don’t have any themes or third-party plugins installed.

Expected result

Manually applying the unmodified json file should be the same as selecting the language in Obsidian.
When selecting language English I expected the menu to be called “About” not “General”.

Additional information

The sub-menu is the first link on the left of the options window.

The “General” string does appear in the .json translation files but is never translated like “About” would be.

I did not look for any other inconsistencies.

The text should read “General”, the JSON file is outdated.
