Inconsistent styling of links

What I’m trying to do

Using Obsidian fresh out of the box (no theme or css added) and trying to figure out why my internal links are randomly styled in two different ways.

Things I have tried

Hi!

Can you switch the note to Source mode and take another pic or paste in the raw text?

The link on the left may just be “unresolved”, meaning the note it points to isn’t created yet. Those have a lower opacity compared to links pointing to notes that exist.

Makes sense, thanks. I’m used to Logseq and mainly winging it at the moment.

Can I ask, what is the point of an unresolved link?

It’s just an indication the note hasn’t been created yet with an added bonus of .is-unresolved CSS selectors in Live preview and Reading view so unresolved links can be styled differently (from the default if you want to).

For example, I have notes created for Kat and Toki, but have no clue what this “happiness star” thing is they’re on about. I may or may not (probably not) create a note for that later. :piñata:
