Inconsistency in adding <br> tag reading mode

Steps to reproduce

Add the following lines (please remove code syntax):

> [!note]
> quote body
^quote-id

normal line
^line-id

1. line with no block id
2. line with block id
^list-id
1. line with no block id

Expected result

Expect that in reading mode, HTML for line with or without block ID is the same.

Actual result

Line with a block ID will have a <br> inserted at the end.

Can this <br> tag be removed? I use it to style when list has multiple paragraphs.

I don’t see it as a bug and and you are not using the right syntax for block id either either.

Okay so my inline block ID is not the preferred way but what about the callout. The last line in the callout got a br tag appended at the end.
