Use case or problem
I want to get to the settings of a specific plugin. Before this was possible by clicking on a gear button.
Now, the gear button is hidden behind an ellipsis button and dropdown menu:

I should add that it occurs to me as this is a new “feature”, that is may be due to upgrading soon anyway, and this may become moot at that point.
Proposed solution
Several come to mind immediately, and I am sure there are others. Each has its pros and cons. I like the last the most, but I can imagine it would be the least easy to implement.
- revert to previous behavior altogether, or option to do so
- add gear button next to the toggle (or next to the github icon)
- make an option to allow the gear button to appear
- make which buttons appear and where configurable
