Importing from Joplin

I’m sure this has been asked before, but can Obsidian import from Joplin? I understand that Joplin stores its data in markdown, but I’d also like to retain Joplin’s folder structure.

You can export from Joplin and move the exported directory into your vault or use it as a vault.

Go to File → Export all → and choose either markdown option.

It will create a directory containing notebooks as the directory hierarchy and a directory containing resources, which is everything that isn’t a markdown file.

Thank you @jwl - Is it also possible to import tags?
I successfully imported from Joplin but the tags are not there…

I found sollution - in Joplin export should be set: “MD - Markdown + Front Matter”.
