Importing from Day One and changing date formats

Can’t find a solution for this in the forum, so …

I have thousands of entries exported from Day One Classic as a single Markdown file in the following format:

Date: 3 May 2011 at 07:43

What happened today

Date: 17 June 2017 at 12:00

What happened today

Date: 23 October 2022 at 11:28

What happened today

I want to break these entries into separate files and then import them into Obsidian in YYYY-MM-DD-dddd format.

Does anyone know if:

  1. there is a way to search for the dates in their current format and to change them to YYYY-MM-DD-dddd?
  2. there is a way to search for the at timestamp parts of the dates and to remove the times completely?

If I can do the above, I can import the one MD file into Scrivener using import and split to get separate documents. I can then export those files as MD files and import them into Obsidian.

Thanks in advance for any tips or pointers or ideas. I am not savvy enough to run things like Python scripts, so I need fairly simple solutions.

Sorted this out with multiple find-and-replace runs.

Phew!
