I would like to suggest a plugin import calibre annotation. This plugin would also create a small markdown text to link to the highlighted location within the book.
Because calibre annotation extracting capability already remember the location, the plugin just need to convert this code into a small markdown link.

This would be fantastic. Calibre has recently added calibre:// links which make linking with Obsidian/other apps easier, but something more integrated would be amazing!
I made this thread before calibre 5.9.
You can now export calibre annotation to markdown since version 5.9.
It will also include the link to your highlighted location.
