Implementing regex lookahead and lookbehind in ios

According to the docs regex lookaheads and lookbehinds are not supported. It would be really useful if these worked in iOS, too.

Is there any plan for implementing this?

tasks is not part of obsidian and the regex limitation is an apple problem.

Thanks for the info. You are right in that I referenced the Tasks docs, but isn’t regex a general feature of Obsidian search also?

In any case, too bad that it’s an Apple limitation.

Lookaheads and lookbehinds are supported by recent versions of iOS (I don’t remember the oldest version that supports it but the answer has been posted in the forum before. EDIT: maybe it was on Discord. EDIT 2: Looks like iOS 16, so pretty recent. Lookahead | Apple Developer Documentation)
