Images not rendering on Linux (Ubuntu)

Hello,

I didn’t find a similar issue.

I recently migrated from Windows to Linux. In Obsidian, everything except pictures rendering (both in preview and reading mode) is fine.

The source pictures are fine, I can open them in the default app. Copy-pasting a new image to the editor will produce the same issue.

Things I have tried

  • Disabling every community plugin
  • Selecting the default theme
  • Disabling every CSS snippet

I don’t know what’s left to try.

Hello, i have the same problem, someone help to solve this?

Could it be a permission issue , Not sure if you could try changing permission of test image file to 777 to verify
