How images are handled in the last version is a disaster.
What looks like a new resize feature only give me the power to diminish the images until they disappear. And I can no longer resize them in editing mode, only the source mode allows it, but there the image is no longer visible, so I have to go back and forth…
Clicking on the image no longer brings me to the image, I have to right click and open it elsewhere.
I use to paste a lot of images of texts, OCR them and then delete the files. This routine and others are now a lot more complicated.
To my eyes it’s a significative friction added for obscure reasons.
Otherwise, thank you for the great job you’re doing! I do appreciate it a lot.
I had a theme interfering with the “edit this block” functionality. Was driving me crazy. Turning everything off still makes image editing (especially when they are small, <25 pixel images)). Thanks for the suggestion that it might be something interfering with the functionality.
Having no idea of how the normal implementation should look like, I have accused the developers too hastily! As for @happycatmachine, the culprit was not a plugin but my theme (Border). Thanks a lot!
