It’s both a plugin and a feature idea.
I am 100% sure that at least small thumbnails would make a massive difference to the graph view.
Imagine exploring the adjacent possible with all those styles out there.
Also, I would increase the hover area of each point on the graph to more easily hover it with Ctrl pressed and see what it has to offer.
What have we got to lose? In the worst case, it would slightly highlight the wrong target.
Also, maybe after hovering over a target, all its connections shouldn’t fade that quickly. I would prefer them to fade slower, so I could see those connections for longer while I am trying to select or hover over one of them
