Image that is base64 encoded counts as 800+ words in the word count

Steps to reproduce

Paste in an image, shows up as base64. Lots of text

Expected result

Image goes in, shows up properly, word count stays the same

Actual result

Image goes in, shows up properly, word count changes by 800+

Why is it considered a feature request and not a bug? This makes the word count for me unusable. It’s not like the base64 encoded image resembles any kind of actual text.

Because it’s not something that is implemented but does not work because of a bug.

Skipping html, stripping some markdown markers, etc, etc is not implemented.
