Hi Obsidian Team,
I would like to suggest an improvement to the Arabic search functionality in Obsidian. Currently, when searching Arabic text with diacritics (harakat), such as َ ِ ُ, the search does not return results unless the query matches the exact diacritical marks.
Since Arabic text can often appear with or without diacritics, depending on context, this can make searching Arabic notes more difficult. I believe it would be incredibly helpful if Obsidian could add an option to ignore diacritics when performing a search in Arabic, much like how case-insensitive or accent-insensitive search works for Latin scripts.
This feature would greatly improve the experience for Arabic-speaking users and those studying Arabic. I hope this suggestion can be considered for future updates.
Thank you for your attention!
