iCloud sync - Old desktop version not available

I can’t access the old version of iCloud, which was fixing the syncing issues that were between iCloud and Obsidian.
Now only the Microsoft Store app is available.

How does anyone fix the issue with duplication of files and syncing problems when using iCloud, WITHOUT using the old version of the iCloud desktop app?

Sure I am not the only one.

I would be nice if Obsidian could make their sync work with iCloud app.

Unfortunately the official recommendation is to not use iCloud on Windows. Search the forum for details.
