It is possible to do that? For example, if I copy some text from Google, then it will auto-generate the source tag: www.google.com
I am not sure whether that would be easy to implement using the system clipboard. I am not aware of a browser plugin or Obsidian plugin that can do that.
You could consider using a clipboard manager. Then you would copy the link from the address bar (Ctrl+L Ctrl+C), then copy the content of the webpage, then switch to Obsidian and paste contents and link using the clipboard manager. That avoids having to switch back and forth to copy these different informations.
I use this browser extension GitHub - deathau/markdownload: A Firefox and Google Chrome extension to clip websites and download them into a readable markdown file.
Hi im looking for a plugin or a way that when i copy things from chrome or a document, obdisian will also attach the source link (like onenote does)
Is that possible?
I usually do that from my phone (android), so something that will work from there.
Any options?
Thank you
Hello.
Would the Obsidian Web Clipper do what you need?
