I modified "Calendar" Community Plugin: Added Monthly and Yearly Click Event on the Calendar UI

The title said it all. I added yearly and monthly click event so it will open up the monthly or yearly periodic notes. you can see it here in the fork of the original calendar plugin, in the releases 1.6.0 (unzip it on the /.obsidian/plugins, that’s it)

I don’t really know how should I show it, so here I made on forum post if anyone ever need. (I did write PR to the original repo but seems like it is inactive). Hope it is useful for anyone!

Update

fix the static quarter UI on navigating to different month.
Also add indicator for month, quarter, and year.

Hi Ni-zav,

If I use your plugin the settings to show week number doesnt work anymore. Now I cant use the calendar as a way to open my weekly notes. Do you have the same problem?

Opening Quarter and Month notes works fine

i still had it on me, can you share a screenshot of the calendar? i’ll try to look further on the bug
