I built an Obsidian CRM that needs only two shortcuts

Hello all, my first post here!

Greetings from Reunion Island (between Mauritius and Madagascar)

After watching hours of videos and reading loads of posts about building a CRM in my beloved note taking app (Obsidian obviously!), I built one myself - that actually works for me - someone who is both lazy and busy.

For people

  • Who don’t want to have to remember to link, transfer etc.
  • Who don’t want to learn new note-taking habits
  • Who are busy and want something as simple as opening ‘notepad’ and typing notes, but expect CRM functionality.

I made a YouTube video to show how to build it, with some links to my templates and custom script for Quick Add plugin macro I created. But I am not able to link here. If anyone is interested, DM me (or tell me how I can share links here)

Worst case, if you did break the code of conduct for exclusive self promotion, we would first flag the post, send a DM, or issue a warning to let you know. Sharing one link in a Share & Showcase is fine. :slight_smile:

You can put a link as “pre-formatted”http://example.com. When your account has more activity, you’ll be allowed to post links. I’ll edit your post above.

Oh, you need to click on “Watch on YouTube”, not the YT logo in the corner.

You can usually share links directly in posts after your first few, or mods might be able to help. Have you considered using a central dashboard note to link out to your CRM entry points?
