Trying to upload obsidian. I go to the internet and get the url.
I have tried to upload and not successful. I have tried eight times.

Do you mean download Obsidian? You should be able to download from https://obsidian.md/ with no issues.
If you do mean upload, can you explain a bit more about what you are trying to do because I don’t follow.
Sorry I mean download from Obsidian. I get an error this is not a Microsoft product and I must go to the app store to get this product. I went to the store and did not find the software.

Try using a different browser to download maybe? Firefox, Chrome, Vivaldi, etc.
And no, Obsidian isn’t in the Microsoft App Store.
I think I have found the problem of why I can not load Obsidian.
To increase security and performance, Windows 11 in S mode only runs apps from the Microsoft Store. If you want to install an app that isn’t available in the Microsoft Store , or if you have Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise, or Education and want to upgrade to Windows 11, you’ll need to permanently switch out of S mode.
