How to use block in obsidian? Some FAQ improvement suggest

in the post Link to blocks - Obsidian Help - Obsidian Publish , it said

To link to a block in a specific file, first type [[filename to bring up a list of matched files. After selecting a file, type ^ and continue typing to search for blocks to link to.

But my obsidian v0.9.17, In order to link a block, I need to type [[filename , select the file, and then press # and ^ to start search for the blocks.Not the way Help told me. :frowning:

So I think the Help should do some improve now…?

I don’t see the difference.

Indeed, this works as described:

Thanks bro. Maybe it is because im using folow setting

  • Use [[Wikilinks]] Nope
  • New link format Realtive path to file

Using folow Third-party plugins

  • Calendar
  • Natural Language Dates
  • Templater

then i press ^, it became

So the only way i use Link to block is perss#^ instead of press ^ :frowning:

this was fixed in 0.9.19
