How to retain formatting when pasting text?

Okay, I have a question. I am new to Obsidian. I use Joplin but am looking to switch over to Obsidian. When I past in Joplin it keeps all of the formatting. But I cant seem to get Obsidian to do the same. Here is what it looks like in Joplin:

Obsidian intentionally pastes content as plaintext since that’s the most workable and useful form for text within the app. If you’re looking to paste the content as HTML, there is a community plugin for that.
