How to resize the on-hover preview of PDF

Continuing the discussion from How can I resize the on-hover page preview of pdf files to make it bigger?:

Resizing the page preview of pdf files when I hover over a link to a local pdf file to make a bigger preview.
It’s very difficult to read, esp in small screen.

Steps to reproduce

[[filename.pdf]] OR [PDF](filename.pdf)
Hover mouse on it, it will pop-out a window, displaying the PDF file.
But the window is too small to read.
