How to link to a point in a note?

What I’m trying to do

I thought I remembered having heard mention that there’s a way to create an anchor point in a note to link to, without having to use headers – but now I can’t find any information about that. If I’m not imagining that, can someone tell me where to find instructions?

To give an example, I have a note that’s someone’s article. I want to link from another note to an anecdote within the article, but I don’t want to have to create a heading there and disrupt the actual organization of the article/note.

Hi.
Maybe a link to block: Link to blocks

That’s the one I was looking for; thank you!

That’s pretty cool! Do you by any chance know of a page or speciation thread that goes into the technical explanation of how that approach works?
