How to insert time

i want to insert time or date to markdown doc , but i don’t know how

for macOS in Automator go with New Quick Action and configure it like below

I use it via TouchBar button to insert the date anywhere where text input is supported.

Other third-party text expansion apps are also popular, in addition to @tbd’s advice. Many folks like Espanso.

You can also use Obsidian’s Templates feature to insert a bunch of text including date and time. See https://publish.obsidian.md/help/Plugins/Templates

I use https://www.alfredapp.com which has a text expander as well as other tools that could be used to enhance your workflow such as creating and searching notes from outside of Obsidian.
