How to insert a picture in Excalidraw with Image Hosting

I use ! [ ] (Image Hosting URL) , it doesn’t work.

I simply copy the URL to the clipboard and directly paste the link, which resolves to an image. I get the link back by doing a CTRL+CLICK.

If I have a lot of links to images and want to paste them all at once, is there a way?
