How to “Go Back” after clicking on a Backlink?

Things I have tried

Swipe left, locate the main document name and click on it.

Or

Swipe right, and reopen the main document again

What I’m trying to do

I frequently use (1) Backlinks (2) Shortcut URL to run random notes in Obsidian within my main documents. I need a fast way to be able to “Go Back” to my main document after I read the new (backlink or shortcut) note. Is there any plug-in for “Go Back” with swipe or something like that? Currently, I need to go back and open my main document each time after ruining the backlink or shortcut

when you say u’ve tried swipe left/right, i’m assuming it’s ipad/mobile. anyway,

  • you can do two finger swipe left/right to navigate back or forward.
  • if you have a keyboard, you can assign a hotkey (default is Ctrl/Cmd + Alt + <-/->).

Great. As a matter of fact I mainly use iPhone. Two finger swipe was very helpful.
