How to ensure the overall zoom level stays as set after restarting Obsidian?

This is a linux specific bug in 1.9.10

Linux: Zoom Level / Zoom Factor is not restored on startup Bug reports

Since installer version 1.9.10 / Electron 37, the zoom level settings works but is not correctly applied / restored on startup under Linux. This seems to be an upstream regression of Electron.
