How to display embedded image inside the text

Hi,

thanks for great work you are doing. I have been trying to embed an image into the text but for some reaseon I cant do that. Only link appears, not actual image itself in the text. I tried:

[[image.png]]
![[image.png]]
![image](image.png)
![](image.png)

None of the syntaxes produce the image view in the text itself, only a link that displays the image in a separate window.
Any chance you can help me with that?

Can you provide a screenshot?

I can’t think of an obvious reason. I assume an image with this filename is somewhere in your vault.
