How to bulk select images in the newest version of Obisidian

First, search the help docs and this forum. Maybe your question has been answered! The debugging steps can help, too. Still stuck? Delete this line and proceed.

What I’m trying to do

In the old days, if I want to copy paste a few images from one place to another, it was simple. Just left click and drag to select all then Ctrl+C Ctrl+V. With this new version. I can’t drag and select all anymore, even if I click the edit button on the top right corner of an image to make it display its link, I can only select this link only, not the images below. It creates tremendous incovenience when try to bulk edit images.
PS: Even when just trying to copy paste one image. just by clicking it and press Ctrl+C then Ctrl+V doesn’t work. I have to either right click the image then move my cursor to “Copy image” and click, or, again clicking the top right button to see its link then Ctrl+C Ctrl+V. Why making this so difficult? Am I missing something? But I have to admit. It does one improvement. In the old days, you can’t easily delete an image. You have to right click an image link then move ur cursor down to “Open in the file explorer” then delete it in the Windows Explorer. Now I can delete it more easily just in Obsidian. But meanwhile it creates other difficulties.

Things I have tried

I’m a bit confused. Are you attempting to bulk copy images and paste them somewhere else that ISN’T in Obsidian? Or just transfer images from one note to the other?

Transfer one note to another

Interacting with images has changed a bit and there may be some things to still work on, but in this case I’m able to drag to select → cmd + c multiple images → cmd + v to paste. I’m dragging to select, cmd + c, and cmd + v here in the right tab group (Live preview).

I would download and reinstall obsidian to make sure you have the latest version and installer. Also give it a try in Restricted mode, using the default theme, and css snippets disabled (if you have any).

After reinstall and set theme to default this is what I find: if there are no empty lines between images, then when draging, it won’t select any of them until it meets the first empty line or text.
Thank you for your illustration GIF. I see it can be done by just making sure there are empty lines between them.
