How do you make notes go into certain folders automatically?

I’m creating new notes from a calendar plugin (from Liam Cain) and I’m wondering if there was a way to make it so that new notes created for the calendar, goes directly into a specified folder. I’d also like to know if there was a way to automatically see what is written in the note preferably right below the calendar already

For your first question, go to Settings → Daily Notes (right under “Core Plugins”). You could change the default folder and template for your daily notes from there:
