How do I know which folder the note is in?

Sorry for my bad english.
when I search for something in the search results I open the note that contains my search target: how do I know which folder the note is in?

two options (only when you open the note)

  • with core plugin File Explorer, u can click 3-dot menu > Reveal file in navigation (or simply use default hotkey Ctrl + R)
  • with community plugin Show Current File Path, once u install the path/folder is shown at the bottom status bar

You can also show the file in the system explorer which (on MacOS or Linux at least) will open the default File Browser to the location (instead of in the Obsidian File Navigator)
