How do I change the color of a node that is located within a subfolder?

Hi! I’m still a bit new to Obsidian, I’m trying to change the color of a node that is located inside of a subfolder (Project → Folder with that topic’s nodes → Subfolder with another node) but when I try using the Groups feature, the node stays with the same color as the Parent folder’s color.

Say the parent folder is A and the subfolder is B, what I’m doing is creating a group that within the path of A, sets the color to red, and what I want to do is make another path in folder B that sets all nodes within it to a pink-ish(?) color. Buut when I do this, the node within folder B stays with the color of folder A and doesn’t change.
I know I’m doing something wrong here, maybe I’m going at it the wrong way with how I’m using groups?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! To change the color of a node in a subfolder without inheriting the parent folder’s color, make sure to set more specific paths for your groups. Define the color for the subfolder B’s nodes explicitly in the groups settings, ensuring it overrides the parent folder A’s color. If needed, adjust the group hierarchy to prioritize subfolder-specific rules.
