How can I make a template like this?

What I’m trying to do

How can I create something like this?

Hi there !

I’m not sure what you mean by “how can I create something like this”, do you mean how to use the core template plugin?

  1. Go to Settings > Options (first section from the top) >Core plugins.
  2. In the core plugins list, ensure the Templates core plugin is enabled.
  3. Click on the settings icon on the side of the Templates core plugin.
  4. Set Template folder location to the path of the folder where you put your templates. For example, if you put your templates in a root folder called Templates in your vault, this setting should be Templates.
  5. Create a new template file in the folder you chose, for example Entry template
  6. Inside of this new template file, insert the following markdown :
(insert tags here)
# Definition

> [!SUMMARY] Definition
> Contents

(blurb)
# Examples and Non-Examples
# Resources

  1. Adjust the markdown contents to your liking.
  2. Create a new, empty note and open it.
  3. Use the ribbon icon Insert template or the command of the same name. Select the template if you have more than one. The template’s content will be added to your note at the cursor’s position.

Hope this helps !

P.S. : If you wonder how the Definition colored rectangle is made, it is called a callout, here is the official Obsidian documentation about those.
