I’m new to obsidian, so please excuse my silly question. Could someone share how to crop an image?

@Aashna see https://help.obsidian.md/How+to/Embed+files#Resize+images
Others replied how to resize. There is no way to crop an image file directly in Obsidian. Maybe it’s possible to use CSS to crop but that would just be an appearance thing.
But otherwise, to crop the actual file, you’ll need to use an image editor, and that depends on your operating system. MacOS and Windows both have built-in ways to open and crop/rotate an image.
