Hover editor missing inner border

Hello, I have an unwanted effect with the hover editor. It is displayed without an inner border. One reason could be the use of minimal layout in combination with style settings. I cannot find the cause.
Does anyone have an idea or solution?

One easy thing you could try right away is to update all themes and plugins, in case you haven’t in a while.

And if you are on an older Obsidian installer, you could try reinstalling, just in case it’s a CodeMirror thing.

Thanks for the tip. My plugins are always up to date but the installer was a bit behind. I have updated it but no improvement on hover.
I also only noticed the hover border problem after I installed and applied ‘Minmal’ and ‘Style Settings’.
I don’t know if it’s a general incompatibility with hover or a consequence of settings.

When you get a chance, can you try installing Minimal, Minimal Theme Settings, and Hover Editor in a new test vault to see how it looks using a few test notes? The Sandbox vault works for testing as well, but that resets if you close/open it.

I use Minimal and those plugins in my vault and the padding looks good:

Also, are you seeing the issue in Hover Editor with every note or just that WZ-Bosch... note?

I’m guessing it’s a setting or CSS snippet (if you have any) causing the issue.

Hello ariehen, thank you for your helpfulness. I have several Vault in use. On one I have “Minimal” / “Style Settings” activated but used without “Hover”. I have now installed “Hover” (without making any settings) and the problem with the missing border is there. The effect applies to all hover popup windows in both Vaults.
I have deactivated two CSS snippets used - without effect.
