Bug Report (Improved Wording)
Steps to Reproduce
- Use a mouse with two scroll wheels (e.g., MX Master 2, which has both vertical and horizontal scrolling).
- Open a PDF file in Obsidian. It is unclear if this issue happens with other file types, but it consistently appears once the PDF is fully loaded.
Note:
This bug is inconsistent. Sometimes horizontal scrolling works initially but then stops. Even reopening the file does not resolve the issue—only restarting Obsidian seems to fix it. While not app-breaking, it is a frustrating issue.
Troubleshooting
Yes, the troubleshooting guide was followed. The issue remains inconsistent. Horizontal scrolling briefly works for approximately 0.5 seconds before stopping. The scroll bar can still be dragged manually, but the horizontal scroll wheel ceases to function.
Expected Result
Smooth horizontal scrolling in zoomed-in PDF files using the horizontal scroll wheel.
Actual Result
Horizontal scrolling using the horizontal scroll wheel stops working after a brief moment in zoomed-in PDF files.
