Use case or problem
Currently, in Obsidian’s right sidebar, the top row of icons does not support horizontal scrolling when there are more views than can fit within the available width. This makes it difficult to quickly access some tools without manually resizing the panel. Additionally, resizing the right panel reduces the available viewing width of the note in the central pane, which negatively impacts the reading and writing experience.
Proposed solution
It would be very useful to enable horizontal scrolling (or a similar mechanism, such as overflow navigation) in that toolbar, allowing users to access all options without needing to resize the panel.
This improvement would enhance space efficiency and overall usability, especially in setups with many plugins or active views.
Current workaround
Manually resizing the panel.
