Hopefully mermaid will support any kind of link and will be able to alias the link

Use case or problem

I am using version 1.5.12 of Obsidian, Mermaid doesn’t support all forms of linking, at the moment, I know it only supports links to text, but not links to URLs, images, etc., such as links to URLs, as shown below:

So it does not support links to URLs, and the same goes for other unsupported links.

The second problem is that Mermaid doesn’t support aliasing links, when I alias Mermaid using the form in text, it will report an error as shown below:

So it doesn’t support aliasing links, same for other unsupported links.

Proposed solution

I’d like Mermaid to support not just linking notes, but linking URLs, images, and anything else that can be supported in normal text, and to be able to alias links just as you can in normal text.
