Hi there!

Please excuse the newbie question!

I’m just getting started with Obsidian and I would like to Insert a Hook link into an Obsidian note, but I can’t figure out the syntax.

I am not asking how to Hook an Obsidian note to something else, but simply the syntax for inserting the text of a Hook link (to an external file).

Thank you, but unfortunately that doesn’t work with Hook links. I wish I could figure why!

I’m not sure if this is the problem per se, but Hook links contain a host of prohibited symbols…

I’ve had no problems with Hook links — can you post an example?

Thanks for the help. Problem solved!

I’m not exactly sure what happened, but I was copying the Hook link from Drafts into Obsidian and something got lost in the process. However, I decided to grab the link once again from Hook directly and it worked like a charm.
