Thank you! I updated the installer. The bug in question persists.
Side note: contrary to the link you provided, the release notes for 1.7.x didn’t indicate that a manual installer update was required hence the reason why mine was outdated. Or did I miss it?
@Hampton The opacity of the second link in your screenshot looks low. Is it an unresolved link? Those seem fine. It’s the resolved links that seem to be the issue in Reading view. Can you try in the Sandbox vault?
Apologies @peeragetalkers and @ariehen – my mistake. I missed the fact that @peeragetalkers was referring to a resolved link. I see the error in my vault and the sandbox for resolved links that have been highlighted.
The release notes for 1.7 list ‘Updated to Electron v31.6.0.’ Unless I have made another mistake (which seems increasingly likely), I think this means the installer needs to be updated by a manual download of the full installer package for Obsidian. More apologies if I have also got that wrong.
Thanks. My long-term misreading of references to Electron updates and what they meant. I do a full installation with every release anyway, assuming that it helps to keep things as fresh and clean as possible.
Appreciate the help. Apologies to @peeragetalkers for the bad info.
