FWIW, I don’t see the same in a local vault.

Installer needs updating? Custom font?

Weird. No, this was taken in the sandbox vault that’s as vanilla as it gets.

I can see that the installer reflects the previous release, yeah. Thought this was normal?

AFAIK, the only outdated software I’m running is macOS Big Sur.

Apologies for the brevity:

Thank you! I updated the installer. The bug in question persists.

Side note: contrary to the link you provided, the release notes for 1.7.x didn’t indicate that a manual installer update was required hence the reason why mine was outdated. Or did I miss it?

@anon45210282 The opacity of the second link in your screenshot looks low. Is it an unresolved link? Those seem fine. It’s the resolved links that seem to be the issue in Reading view. Can you try in the Sandbox vault?

It looks like the .markdown-rendered mark .internal-link rule is taking precedence over the internal link color rule.

Apologies @peeragetalkers and @ariehen – my mistake. I missed the fact that @peeragetalkers was referring to a resolved link. I see the error in my vault and the sandbox for resolved links that have been highlighted.

The release notes for 1.7 list ‘Updated to Electron v31.6.0.’ Unless I have made another mistake (which seems increasingly likely), I think this means the installer needs to be updated by a manual download of the full installer package for Obsidian. More apologies if I have also got that wrong. :sob:

No worries at all :grinning:.

I don’t think the Reading view resolved internal link (that’s a mouthful) color is a deliberate decision – maybe just an omission.

We’ll see!

Thank you. :+1:

Re the point above about Electron being updated in 1.7 … that means the installer needs to be updated by a full installation?

The installer doesn’t not NEED to be updated. If we feel the there is s need for an update you will receive an notification to do so.

Thanks. My long-term misreading of references to Electron updates and what they meant. I do a full installation with every release anyway, assuming that it helps to keep things as fresh and clean as possible.

Appreciate the help. Apologies to @peeragetalkers for the bad info.
