I use the Kindle Highlights plugin and love how it works. When I highlight, I can also write a note in my kindle as “[[sample_backlink]]” or “#sample_tag” (both without the quotes, separate with a common & space for multiple), and when I use the plugin to import the highlights from my book, Obsidian automatically registers the note as a backlink/tag.
Has anyone found a plugin, or has a workflow, that works in a similar manner for PDF documents? I’ve been looking at some EPUB plugins as well, but I haven’t found anything as seamless as the Kindle plugin workflow. If you use a separate PDF editing app (or Calibre?), I’d appreciate a reference.
