Hello, everyone. I’m new to Obsidian and would absolutely love to start using the program for my “character wikis,” where a database style is at the center of its structure. I have some examples below that capture what I would fundamentally like to achieve:
This is a screenshot of part of the Punishing: Gray Raven characters page. When you click on any given avatar, it takes you to their character profile with their stats and other descriptors.
Another great example is a Notion template by Everwander where they employ media grids for visiting new pages:
This is what I’d like to do with my Obsidian database! I want to have clickable avatars in a grid structure similar to this with the absence of names (I like the unconventional nature of clicking on a character based only on their avatar) and have those link to a page hosting their profile.
I’m a very visual person and would love if someone could help me start or point me to a template I can configure to achieve something like this, preferably like the PGR reference. I’m happy to learn any and everything I can to make the ultimate knowledge and personal wiki database! ^^
